I have to say as a Thera Dweller and Cov ops pilot. This has been the best month in eve I have ever had in my 13 years playing this game.
Using covert ops and hunting the null umbrellas was getting soul destroying before blackout.
I thank you so much for giving us an era in this game. Please keep up the hard work and donāt let the meta gaming get to you.

i Agree it takes a while to train for but worth it in the end just let JF also use the covop cyno as an addition, see it as a reword for investing SP in an alt resulting in a cheaper jump. while future ppl that are training for a JF have a somewhat low thresh hold to actually start jumping with one.

Weāve gone from a potential huge buff for JF logistics chains hopping about to covert cynosā¦ to they jump to the indy cyno lit by t1 industrials or regular cyno on recons/blopsā¦No-one in their right mind is gonna try to seed badgers at mid-jump points coz of their bulk/vulnerability outside of hisecā¦ and babysitting/feeding recons each jump for logistics trips isnāt viable at all.
Iām confused what the goal is here for JFās, are you buffing them or nerfing them into oblivion?
Please keep cyno mechanics separate - itās probably best to make up some kind of āVigil Beacon Moduleā or a lil deployable structure that takes fuel to be a beacon on the overview

Thereās absolutely no excuse that someone flying an 8+ bil ship can have that would justify them not needing to have advanced characters to cyno to. Their original plan was inconvenient, because it required retraining etc. but it makes sense. T1 freighters fly around for beginners on their own, when you move up to JFs, you are going to be running multiple accounts anyway. It should be a higher level skill barrier to fly them effectively. This coming from a guy who runs multiple cynos, has been ganked, and also ganks JFs.
This still isnāt a great compromise. Why not mass or class limit cynos? Really think limiting the number of ships would be a better solution. Then thatās the only change. This absolutly kills the logic behind giving us corvettes in upwell structures. They are the best cyno ship for moving jfs as well as rorqs, dreads, and carriers.
All of this is a huge buff to goons. Yes you will kill the dumb goon, but goons will adapt. All other null will die. Only ones that can afford this in the end is goons.

The idea of an industrial cyno is good - The implementation as usual and expected from CCP, just sucks.

Ship some compressed ore to the mids and make a bunch of industrials there.
honestly would you rather this or a 40m bomber which doesnāt die because the cyno isnāt visible and jf can sorta sneakily get somewhere?

the original proposal wasnāt perfect but it is a much better option than what we have now.

Iām just saying that if you canāt respond to a minor inconvenience like this then maybe a JF route isnāt really for you. Building, or buying because they are sure to be well stocked at popular mids before long, is not that hard.
Sorry, this is worse, imagine trying to fly a T1 indy out on cyno chains, now imagine trying to do it at weird hours to avoid gate camps or imagine trying more than 5 times to get a chain in place.

So again, the simple answer is the best optionā¦ I donāt use āpopular midsā, I prefer to move my JF as safely as possible.
I used to stock cynos in āpopular midsā, made a fortune out of them - How much do you think T1 industrialās will sell for, when the seller knows he has a captive market?
Of course it is all me - Moving āthe sameā JF around new eden for over 6 years shows it isnāt for me.
So build your own? I just donāt get how this is such a big deal.
