Chaos Era Continues - Cyno Update

So, you first make me skill my cyno alts into cyno V and covops, then on halfway you change your mind, and decide that I will have supply ventures to every waypoint in each jump, and that the previous skilling will be vain. Well guess that I wouldn´t have made any money hauling anyway, cause my null region is dead since blackout.

Have you taken a look here lately? https://eve-offline.net/?server=tranquility

Are you trying to ruin the game on purpose? Maybe some type of creative strike against your new overlords?

I was already on low power mode but this has just nailed the coffin. Gosh, at least it has been PERFECT timing. One year earlier and I don´t know what would I had played.

Don’t forget to contract me all your stuff for 1 isk.

You make a fool of yourself, by showing that you have no clue how EvE economy works. Better stop posting about related topics.

Destroying stuff or replacing stuff does not remove any ISK from the game because you purchase from players who get the ISK not from CCP. Insurance is paid regardless whether you insure your ship or not. The payout comes from CCP as injection into the economy.

Are the changes already in effect?

It does because of broker fees and sales taxes and contract fees. But oh wait, CCP removed the broker fees because of structures. I guess you are right to some extend.

Doesn’t actually matter, the purcase of replacement might or might not attached to ISK sinks. You can get it via trade window which never was a sink for the whole economy, make direct contracts, …

But the destruction is a faucet, since you even get 1 ISK for a uninsured Gnosis.

The idea of built in NPC insurance outside of highsec is just idiotic in its core if you ask me…

Can we at least get another “extend Omega time 3 months, get 3 months of extra skill queue” offer to help facilitate the training into the new cyno ships?

Ffs CCP, throw us a (nice) bone once in a while. It’s no wonder tranquility activity numbers remain stagnant.

To be fair, if you look at the MER, the insurance net faucet is not that big and a problem for the economy. Not sure what the impact of mass destruction of T1 haulers instead of noob ships will have on that.

Good choice, put the new Cyno for jump freighter

no they are not.
you dont need the capital ship skill to pilot one.

I have to be honest CCP, I was not a fan of the proposed changes, specifically how they impacted my logistics chain. However being a longtime player and customer I sucked it up and injected skills to get my chain ready for the changes, then I stocked my structures with CovOps hulls and Covert Cynos. Again as a loyal customer I took you at your word that the change announced was what would happen. Once again you have proven to be unreliable at simply announcing a change and finding the intestinal fortitude to stick with the change, and players such as myself get burned trying to play by the rules you create/change. How about manning the F**K up and either stick with the proposed change or offer SP refunds for those of us who pay your salary? I fully expect to be scammed, lied to and taken advantage of by players in the game, frankly this reversal is no less a scam and you should make players effected whole.

If you invested in all of that before these changes have been formally announced with a date of implementation, and/or added to the test server prior to release then frankly you are just dumb.

Yeah, because waiting for things to be formally announced when Rise is already getting crap from Hilmar for giving players almost enough warning to maybe train for these changes… that’s not gonna bring all sorts of headaches to the professional haulers out there.

You are 100% right about the SP Refund. What a screw job. They gave me the run around on the support ticket because they are a bunch of A*******.

Most of us dont use JF’s, and they are crap at combat… so this does not help a large portion of the playerbase

When they said the age of chaos - what they meant was in the CCP offices, the only person who had any clue on what to do probably went on maternity leave or something, and they decided to make an organisational bug into a feature…

Part of me hopes they kill this game with the chaos era just because they have officially made it onto my bad list and I want to see them fail. Do I like the game? Yes. Do I like how they are managing it? Absolutely not. They have become penny pinching, stingy jerks who don’t care about their loyal customers.

“This September we are planning large changes for Cynosural Fields:”

Is this enough of an announcement? Ever run a logistics chain brainiac? They announced the change to allow players like myself time to skill up to the changes, which I/we did. Then they couldn’t handle the overwhelming negative response (justified mind you) and caved to pressure to go a 3rd direction that renders useless the investment made for their announced changes. Sounds kinda sorta scammy in my opinion. Troll elsewhere pubbie (No kills since 2015 and your voicing an opinion? Go play WOW scrub)

Yea I’ve made billions JF hauling for Push so I get it. I added cyno 5 to my cyno alt queues as soon as I saw this. Even if I wasted a couple weeks of training on that it benefits in other ways so I’m not gonna cry over that.

If you decided this early to drop billions on ships and injectors, yea that is plain dumb. It would take you what say an hour to be VERY generous to purchase and apply skill injectors. So there is NO reason to be injecting this early in the game.

Similarily when this popped up on the patch notes for the upcoming patch you’d likely have at least few days you could then stock some ships.

So yea bottom line anyone who jumped this early was not thinking clearly, or is so new they never saw that theses “plans” always have adjustments from the time these threads are made until they go live.
