Yes caps get used to come to the aid of a Rorqual or ratting super. I agree ratting supers is a bit ridiculous but a rorqual is quite literally doing its job when its out in space. They get jumped by 100+ man gangs and the most logical and effective tool for saving is HAW dreads. Otherwise its dead, maybe not quickly but its dead. You can wah use exhumers wah all you want but those die even easier with blackout. Barges (except tanked skiff) only take a handful of dps ships or 4-5 bombs. Imposing a change to the game having only taken input from the people who bitch and moan all day on reddit that arent even IN the environment said change affects has got to stop. Nullseccers don’t drivel all day till CCP adversely changes WH space. We couldn’t give a toss. You guys do you. And another point on Rorquals - take a look at all non-NS mineral markets for the last few weeks, month even. Now talk to me about krabbing and nullbears and whatever other nobbit rant you construct. Rorquals and Freight booming means ship/item production booms which means ALL player wallets and PVP boom.

However, I did live in nullsec on and off for years (otherwise in lowsec) before I moved to wormhole space. I got to use my capitals, I got to freely carrier rat, I got to try all that ■■■■ and guess what? I thought it was stupid at the time too. Now you’re forced to commit a few hundred mill isk and, what, 10m SP into a toon to light a cyno in a real ship rather than warping a cyno ceptor in or a bloody rookie ship - in what world is that a bad thing?
You can still drop stuff, you just have to bring the right ship and pick your engagements because it’s now not nearly as easy to have a cyno ready in every single system in your region.

Yes! I love this change! Lighting a cyno should not be something that a rookie Corvette can do. A specialized ship for this function just makes sense.
