Faster Menu Selection

Often when I use drop-down or contextual menus (menu bars or right-click menus) in desktop applications, I will mouse down to open the menu, then mouse over the item I want and release the mouse to select it. I find this much faster than having to click the mouse, move the mouse, and then click again. Just saying, if you haven’t tried it, you should try it the next time you interact with a drop-down or contextual menu in a desktop application (unless the developers didn’t add it). It is usually much faster if you have memorized the menu and can quickly drag your mouse to the selection you want and release. Thanks.
