Faulty game mechanics in Triglavian systems, or CCP suceeded in creating safe Hisec for the first time

Defence of a system should be player action, not NPC action.
With this I again appeal to Goonswarm federation, demand from CCP that gateguns are installed in your systems, on each gate, that oneshot every cruiser and below, that is not part of your alliance, with no delay.
Or any other nullsec entity, yes, all of them.

Oh, sorry, I forgot to mention, those instakill gateguns must defend your stations and asteroid fields as well, this is no joke.

That’s not even defense, you can do nothing with these systems, their state is final. Unlike sov null

It seems to be a bit different. The system is still high sec. With everything (but Condord) involved to it.
The only difference is Concord. They act now related to the modified security. Basically: they are not reacting anymore.

But as far as i know, you cannot bring in capitals into these systems, and the high sec tax from the costom offices should as still be there (but i have no PI on any of the conquered sytems, so i cannot tell).

CONCORD and the guns that are in systems, also roaming fleets, so couple of things.

I think CCP stepped a bit thru the line that differentiated good player agency from the unneded system agency with the rules in those systems. Those guns are an example.

Lack of CONCORD ok, but guns are not needed.

Nalvula also acted strange when it went into liminality. During first and 2nd liminality, security dropped straight to -1.0, and then in final liminality it went up again to -0.0, yeah, minus 0.0, which is kind of strange. It would also take me wonder if the modified security status affects agent mission payouts, or if a 1.0 system can still remain hi sec during escalating liminalty, so that security drops to like 0.5/0.6?

The issue about standing should defnetly be looked at. Why not make it so that if your standing is above -2.0 with either edencom or trigs that they dont attack you in hi sec?

Agents do not give missions in final lim systems.

Probably intentionally, to make players move their ass just a little bit to get the neutral standing.
I’d myself prefer something more like an epic arc for that purpose tbh

wait? once a system reaches final liminalty, agents in these systems dont offer any more missions?

Exactly. You can only finish already issued ones

Well, that definitely sux.

Soo, in a Role Play aspect one could say those Agents are pulling out of those systems.

In reality CCP is just cutting back on content, probably to reduce server requirements.

If they wanted to cut out the content, they wouldn’t leave it to chance. They would have just cut it.
Shutting down agents is another fighting point between locals and trig supporters.
Ichoraya was a hell grind (despite being caldari system) for trigs specifically because it was a market hub and agent system for CalMil

Yeah, I don’t think it’s being left to chance.

I think it’s more like as soon as players have completed their missions with those Agents, CCP will probably just remove those Agents.

Similar to what they did with the Aura Agent who had replaced all 60 of the old ‘Tutorial’ Agents that offered the ‘Endless Battle’ mission (Proposal for reinstatement).

I actually hoped we could bring some lvl 5 missions hubs to -1.0 to make lvl 5 missions more profitable

I think that goes against CCP’s current plans for the game.

However on another note CCP is looking to hire a Senior QA Analyst.

Or maybe just move them. As in, they moved to another system.
Removing them would be a hard hit for anyone who was getting the standing for the R&D Agents (they use personal standing, not corp or faction).
But it all depend on what CCP is going to do with these “conquered” systems.

Nope, but we’ll make sure to shut down any lvl5 agent we come across

What, are we talking about R&D Agents or just regular Agents?

If R&D Agents then yeah, those should definitely be moved since there’s not a lot of those in the game. If it’s just regular Agents then they’ll probably be retired, hopefully that would depend on if the Corp had a lot of other Agents available or not.

It’s not an issue just go shoot 1 edencom ship and you will be neutral to both sides

The fact that this change happened silently (not included in patch notes or dev blog), includes podding (which no other NPCs - not even CONCORD - do), and ignores true neutral standings is a problem. The fact that players have found a workaround doesn’t eliminate the core issue. New players are still going to get blown up without warning, as will those logging in for the first time in invaded systems.

I agree as far as everyone should have been neutral at the beginning.
But then would so many people fight on the side of edencom if it didn’t affect them ? Dunno prob not.

This doesn’t encourage people to fight for EDENCOM though - their sentry turrets don’t attack neutrals. It encourages fighting for Trigs.
