Keeping PvE players in EVE

And the most appalling thing is that once a playstyle is so safe and menial those same folks whine about how boring and meaningless it all is.

Dont be jealous, you can do that too.

If ganking doesnt pay enough, try fleet and running sites in Pochven.

Or null, its profitable too.

Alternatively you can start ganking real bots in null, after stealing from them.

It would be great if you could hold onto even just your own caveats between thoughts.

Bot miners should be flashy yellow via kill rights at the moment of detection and verification. A CCP staff member should be selected to have the dedicated duty of receiving and verifying quickly, any reports of botting, at which point a kill right is delievered, so that the reporting player can enjoy destroying them. And I don’t give a crap who is AFK.

I can think of many ways to abuse that; there’s a reason CCP tend to take their time with bots, they perform an investigation before wielding the ban hammer.

Yeah. You are probably right that more time is needed to properly identify bots.

This really. Empire botters have nothing on how the russian botter in drone space ran a few years back.

Damn good scripts there. Safed up without fail damn near every single time. There was no sleepy ratter action going on there. Even myself got nabbed half asleep at the wheel. Drone space…it be ages till you got a living person to be asleep at the wheel. Best you could hope for was a broken script lol.

Those who remember drone loot ore drops for even the empire rats know how good this was really. I miss the empire stuff. Even that was nice…

Outside of drone space…assuming intel channels are not crap in the past you had all the time in the world to pack up and leave. Align before the mine. See a logoff log in warp out. Otherwise read intel channels. Roam inbound, leave.

The dreaded cloaky. MOre than once I got lucky. Sometimes in my TZ ccp back in the day had surprise cluster shutdowns. Clear that and log in again. And there was my mystery guess friend not logged in. For a few hours till the real reset. and back again. AFK cloaky wasn’t on for the emergency shutdown. And I knew when they AFK.

I liked him/her. They were like a scare crow. kept other people out of “my” pve fishing hole system lol.

CCP takes their time banning bots to make sure it is worth it for the bot to resub. You’ll notice CCP waiting until after a new financial quarter to ban them too. CCP uses the same excuse both GGG and Blizzard use (wE cAnT bAn ThEm ToO fAsT oR tHeY’lL aDaPt) and both Blizzard and GGG have a reputation for supporting bots as well. GGG went as far as to hire someone previously working in illegal RMT and if you’ve played any of the WoW titles recently, you’d see Blizzards complacency immediately as well.

All three of these companies are committing fraud. Lying to their playerbase about having a hard stance on botting while in reality attempting to leave space for the bots because it’s a way easier baseline playerbase to appease. Do not believe these corporate cronies.

TLDR; We should be suing CCP for fraud.

PS: HKO 4 CSM

It’s another "Eve isn’t my type of game; please make Eve my type of game " thread… Look, not every game is going to cater to every player out there. While I’m not a huge fan of FPS games, I do like to play Destiny once in a while; but you don’t see me on the Call of Duty forums asking for them to make their game more like Destiny.

I’ve seen games attempt to change their core mechanics to get more players… most of the time, those games die because they upset their loyal fan base… look at the disaster that was SWG’s NGE.

If you don’t like the nature of Eve, then it’s not probably a game you should play… and that’s okay.

Disagree.

Either the character is verified botting and should be permanently banned including linked accounts, or the account is not verified in which case it should be left alone.

There is no reason to let a botting account continue botting in space for people to shoot with kill rights.

Unless it’s done by sending the capital ships linked to botting to high sec space to be killed by players in an effort to draw attention to what happens to botters.

Do you even read the nonsense you troll away on these forums with? Or do you just randomly mash words together that look legit in hopes we care?

Delusions of grandeuer hit a lot of people when they fail at the basics of life!

Don’t take those guys too seriously  They’re basically roleplaying zealotry
