Ok guys, I’m looking at about 100 total hours without the services I’m paying for on 4 accounts now, I can only get this out through my phone because in spite of being able to connect to sinqarity flawlessly, i’m unable to access any of the login features on my own appartment’s ISP. I have been routinely cycled out of the range of acceptable IPs about 3 or 4 seperate times now, and these periods last DT to DT, with the exception of right now, this blackout has been going since dt on saturday morning. I’ve sent you my IP with more than a handful of support tickets, with nothing coming back my way in terms of correspondence or confirmation that anything is been done at all. Honestly CCP I don’t even want free skill points I just want to be able to play for the days that I have not been able to access, so that I’m not getting 20 days of play whilest paying for 30 days of service, on multiple accounts. Keep the SP I just want to have my time back.

Frankly this is more effort than the game is worth in this state. If you decide to stop blocking me, I’ll keep trying to play your game. Otherwise, I’ll take it as a hint it’s time to move on for now. Get your ■■■■ together CCP…

Also, use when sending support ticket to CCP, http://www.whatsmyip.org/, copy and paste “Host Name & User Agent” tn to your ticket. This will help get your ISP unblocked hopefully faster.
I’ve sent a support request with my IP on friday, and It got fixed. My IP changed because my ISP does that every time i turn off my modem for more than 30m. Do i need to make a support ticket every day i want to log in? Because i already made another ticket today, 4 hours ago, and I’m still not able to log into the game, I even had to use a vpn to log into this site to post.
Where is VPN rerouting through? From which country to where for reroute? If you switch server countries or regions, it may be able work around your regional issues. Swtiching VPN sites ro countries has worked for others. o7
@CCP_Explorer do you mean a bug ticket? or where would i file a support request? are you part of the sso team?
So was sat in station and both clients get the usual socket closed, my client then asks me to refresh tokens and now cannot connect to the server, i can see the in game totals update and also can log onto test server, but on singularity just get aannot connect

Short summary:
- Send a support ticket to CCP, ideally with your IP address in it.
- Restart your PC and your router.
- Check with your ISP that you don’t have any regional problems.
- Try using a VPN to get around the issue.
If all fails, sit at the pool, order pizza or watch the AT.

I’m afraid, but nothing on the Internet is permanent. It’s good to know it’s working again for you and hopefully will it stay this way, but due to the nature of these attacks is it only difficult to fight these off without some hard counter measures. There is always a chance that a few users will get kicked under the bus by accident when these attacks are being countered.
It’s also hard to say who is doing what during these situations, because the ISPs will be working together and coordinate their counter measures to fight off DDoS attacks and to suppress them at their root (and not just directly at CCP’s door step).

It’s not a few users anymore.
It’s only a few. The PCU statistics show no signs of any kind that would indication any significant numbers. In fact at today’s peak were there more players logged in when compared to last Sunday, before the attacks.
And it’s not just PCs anymore where these attacks are coming from. It’s anything down to mobile phones and even smaller devices, which are being connected to the Internet these days and that are being hacked and abused for DDoS attacks. What do you suggest we should do?
Invest into what you sell.
And they have. They handled the attacks quickly and to the satisfaction of most costumers. I’m quite pleased with it. It all got sorted within a few hours.
Those who still have problems either have a problem of a different origin, or worse, are a part of the networks from where these attacks originated from and these customers don’t even know it.
i had to re-add my accounts to the eve launcher today, and was experiencing some issues with the 2FA, where i would enter the right code for the account linked and it would reject the code (it was definitely correct) on all 6 of my accounts between 3-5 times and then it would suddenly accept the code and logged the account into the launcher.
and before you ask, yes the 2FA codes were correct, i double and triple checked them…
Edit: Derp i just realized i had opened 2 eve launcher windows and the first had my accounts but was minimized. but still the 2FA thing did happen even though it was wasted time
Lots of entitled, but clueless, people here. It’s NOT CCP. It’s the routing from your ISP, via a few other ISP, TO the servers. It’s also not just an EVE issue, there’s multiple online games atm who have this issue probably because they get routed through the same lines.
IF it was CCP then EVERYONE would have this problem, which is clearly NOT the case.
