1.) Planetary Industry window, showing the list of planets with command centers does not have a Close button in the upper right corner. The close function is buried in the three-vertical-dots menu.
Fix: bring back dedicated close / minimize buttons for Planetary Industry
2.) INVENTORY: “where are all of my containers?” The Item Hanger list box does not have a bottom border to tell us where it ends. This list blends seamlessly down to the “my filters” list box. A horizontal line effect showing the break between the “Item Hanger” list and the “my filters” list only appears on mouse hover.
Fix: make the horizontal border between these two lists clear: at all times show the line which appears on mouse hover. Also consider adding vertical arrows, like " VV " above the break line, to hint that the item hanger has more containers in it than can be displayed at one time.
CCP: “But, you have a scroll bar to tell you there’s more to see.”
Response: Photon UI has minimalistic scroll bars, which are only 1/3 thickness until mouseover. It’s possible some players at first glance might think that the “vertical line” (scroll bar handle) is some kind of new way to show the break between the item hanger list and the window showing items in the selected hanger.
Fix: since horizontal space is reserved for the full width of the scroll bar, it’s simply not displayed in full until mousover - make scroll bars full width and add alllll the stuff back that the “mimalistic” approach says is not necessary: Arrows at the top and bottom of the scroll bar, to hint that you can go up or down in this list. A faint background above and below the scroll bar handle, indicating that the scroll bar handle can be dragged inside this vertical space. And by “faint” I don’t mean 5% brighter than the default background color: more like 20%
