This new Info Window is the worst thing.

Two things I could do on old great ship UI that I can no longer do:

1. See what skill I have in the relevant ship skills (e.g. Amarr Cruiser and Caldari Cruiser when looking at Phantasm)
2. See what skin is on the ship I’m looking at

Really? One UI info window now is completely different from all the other info windows? tabs on left side instead top? wasting more space?
When i am flying around looking for a fight i do not want large windows popping up on me while i need both situational awareness and info about a ship i am not familiar with.

I love how Photon scrambles the UI so that no one knows what shady businesses I engage in, least of all I myself.

So now it’s been 2 years, and you still didn’t manage to make the size of these fields dynamic. Or even change them so at least they fit the content.
Remarkable.

The design of buttons that have a long string of text is simply silly. [image] compared to the old: [image] There is absolutely now way for that UI elemnt to display the whole information. No resizing does that. Not even changing global UI scaling. And sure I KNOW THERE’S “NUMBER OF JUMPS IN THERE” but ffs, then either shorten the name to “jumps” or have the button designed so that IT CAN DISPLAY THAT INFO. You have the space for more lateral pixels.

Scanning window ui is terribad. These are the most use buttons any explorer pushes on a constant basis: [image] [the slider and center on my position is mosltly only used for on-grid combat scanning normally alt+scroll does the trick] Anyone that does explo a lot, manually recovers probes. The number of lines you scroll with each “tick” of the mousewheel has been notincreased but scaled*** . [That makes scrolling through many windows feel off. They cannot. My jita alt gets to click on injecting capital weapon skills on a regular basis.

Try to solve the maze to move your mouse through your inventory full of ship skins without triggering a popup. Thats the current gaming meta.

If your fleet window is small enough (prolly below some vertical px size threshhold), no window transition will occur when you click on the fleet you wish to join. This will allow you to double click on the fleet name and join said fleet.

The UI in this game is basically a load of dark/black boxes on a dark/black background, I cannot easily make out the edge of boxes to alter the size, even the draag points at the top can be hard to find.

I cannot believe that this has been left as is for so long, some people do not have great eyesight

Is there any way of making the boxes easier to see? without having to turn the brightness up 3/4 up the slider
