RGC for CSM 18

buying and selling plex has always been in game if that’s what you are talking about. I doubt its going away anytime soon.

I’m assuming you haven’t actually read the original post? If you had you’d see this question has already been answered.

Sounds like something that’s not my problem or issue. Would need to be taken up with the involved parties.

Ok, let’s start with the knock-off Hek Mining Association that recently sprung up. Is that your problem or issue?

I am in no way shape or form involved with it. I have not spoken for them or to them. I don’t even believe I’ve seen the CEO online lately to be honest? Just assumed the CEO and Winston figured out some sort of deal but since it was none of my business I never asked.

And if I asked Winston he’d also say „yep RGC has nothing to do with it“?

No clue, but what I find more interesting is how both the CEO of the fake HMA and Winston have both been rather inactive lately? Possibly same person just trying to stir up content?

For those interested Ive updated my original post in an effort to not only provide more information on the main topics of my campaign but also in an attempt to add other secondary topics, listed at the bottom, I’m interested in working on.

Against the EULA/ToS however to do this

We both know this isn’t true, and we both know the person doing this is in your alliance and closely affiliated with you. So, I was wondering, what is your stance against this?

Yes, it is, but there are grey areas, and this person jumped right into this grey area, it seems. And RGC Godfather is acting as if he doesn’t know anything about this.

As previously mentioned I am in no way affiliated with who ever it was. From what I’ve gathered just by reading the game chats no rules were broken. The HMA is just a grouping of people in Hek. Its not an actual game mechanic recognized group but simply a grouping of people in a chat. Someone seems to have gotten angry at one of the members who organizes the group and created an official game mechanic recognized version of the group (a corp and alliance) even going as far as purchasing internet domains based around the name also.

The guy setting up the fake HMA is allegedly in the same alliance as you. Do you consider yourself affiliated with members in the same alliance as your alliance?

If the person is within my alliance it has not been made known to me. Myself, My corp, and as far as I know my Alliance are not affiliated with the HMA nor do we wish to be. It would be of no benefit to us to be in or pretend to be the HMA.

The HMA has generally fallen out of relevancy and as such any mention of it here seems like grasping at straws in an attempt to revive it. Its got nothing to do with me or my campaign.

Wonder no more:

I went to confirm the fake HMA “nazi” reference:

Readers may find it strange that there’s a direct reference in the fake HMA description to an incident involving you, while you claim “no affiliation”.

(For reference link to the blogpost in the Eve Mail)

While I appreciate folks coming to our defense, I do think we should focus more on RGC’s general lack of qualifications and ability in regards to the CSM rather than pursuing conspiracy theories. Was RGC involved in the formation of the fake Hek Mining Association? Almost certainly. Was he directly involved? Maybe. Can it be proved? Probably not. What can be proved, by simply quoting the man himself, is that he has no idea about what makes EVE work and until he does he should not be positioned remotely close to any decision makers. Personally, If I could prevent him from being sent surveys I would.

Firstly: The chat had a lot of people involved that day. Me being present in the chat does not make me an affiliate of who ever created the corp/alliance. Whoever it is has not come to me directly and made it known nor do I want them to. From my understanding the only person they have made direct contact with is you? This is based on what you’ve said mind you as no one actually knows. Which still heavily leads me to believe it’s one of your alts and it’s just a way to stir up conent for a dying organization. Its the reason I stopped engaging in your chat about the subject as I wasn’t going to entertain you about it.

Secondly: We all have strong feelings on what we feel would be best for the game. Our opinions are just that, opinions. Until things are put into place and tested none of us know what will or won’t work. I along with my supporters believe what I’m pushing for will work. That’s why I’m running. In an attempt at making this game great again. Fix some wrong that have been done. Bring new players to eve in a steady pace. Having your goon friends comment with different alts here doesn’t change that. Making it look like different people all disagreeing with me sure. But people of the region know it’s all the same guy

For those who don’t know, I’m offering up a level of truth and clarity you won’t get from Winston. Winston is a local thug from Hek who strong armed his way onto the scene with a “join me or die” mentality. Pushing around the local industrialist groups in the region until they submitted or left. He actively uses the buddies in goons (or alts for all we know) to harass any miner that refuses to join him. From bumping orcas off belts or moons that don’t even belong to his corp all the way to ganking random miners.

He says we are a “thorn in his side” because Nebula, the alliance I’m in, has refused to bend or break at his will. We have pushed back in an effort at making a peaceful place in the region for anyone who wishes to mine. Any slander he speaks about me is directly because he isn’t able to strong arm us like he has everyone else. If he can’t break me in game he aims at harming my character instead.

Unlike Winston I don’t make attempts at hiding my allegiances. I am fully committed to the industrialists of HS. Even going as far as having being removed from blue status with my previous LS corp who attempted to gank me in retaliation for my anti gank stance and failing to do so. Winston on the other hand has his hands stained with blood of multiple rather vile groups in the game you all know and love. He has an alt in Safety.net, a very well known and hated ganker alliance in EVE. He has an alt in Wrecking Machine. Even his own corp is a ganker front for killing random Industrialist who refuse to join him. The Goon presence is still being determined if it’s alts or just buddies of his.

Either way moral of the story is who would you industrialists and pve guys rather trust? Me, the guy looking out for your interests and wants? Or Winston the guy actively trying to kill you or strong arm you. I, unlike Winston, only ask for your vote. I don’t want you to serve me. I’m asking you to let me serve you, as your csm.

Sadly, truth and clarity are well outside your wheelhouse. What you are offering is actually referred to as spin. For those who aren’t familiar, according to Wikipedia, spin is described as:

In public relations and politics, spin is a form of propaganda, achieved through knowingly providing a biased interpretation of an event or campaigning to influence public opinion about some organization or public figure. While traditional public relations and advertising may manage their presentation of facts, “spin” often implies the use of disingenuous, deceptive, and manipulative tactics.

Since knowing what you oppose is as important as knowing what you support, I think it is only fair for the people to know what we are really about. The Hek Mining Association is simply a public NPSI mining/ganking organization that focuses on helping new players develop an understanding of the rules and culture of Eve Online in a casual and supportive environment. While our play style could rightfully be described as “Join or Die”, in truth it is closer to “Join and learn how to survive” rather than “Join or we will kill you”. We certainly reserve the right to murder anyone outside of our fleets but we tend not to go out of our way for it.

Like most such bullies, RGC Godfather makes a habit of speaking and deciding for other people. Although he likes to imply that he has some kind of greater support, Nebula Industries and Frozen Assets is one of the HMAs oldest and strongest supporters. In fact, most of the people in Nebula found their way there from one of our many public fleets. The truth is that any issues that our regulars have is with RGC and RGC alone due to his history of actively working against us and spreading false and derogatory statements about both our organization and the members. You can see many such examples right here in this very thread so the truth is readily visible.

I will second what RGC says. These are simple facts based on what I see: I am a miner and a booster, my primary content comes from providing daily fleets for people to mine. All I care about is providing a good fleet with boost so that people can come and mine almost 24/7 (whenever I am online). I’ve been successfully doing that for many months for Nebula alliance. However, on multiple instances when we made the fleet public hoping to give more people the ability to mine daily moons, we were harrassed and ganked from the HMA side (we still are even with the private fleet, just more rarely). We practically were forced to go back to private fleets. I’d love to give more opportunities for more people to mine, however currently it’s difficult to do because of HMA.

As someone who ran HMA fleets back in 2021-2022 half the time being from server reset to server reset I have witnessed many gank attempts noticbly on ventures with a few kills being day one or under 30 day old accounts .

ganking is a problem for the new bros, (mainly safety.net being the gankers in question but there are others) and witnessing in their why was I ganked chat them adding them and watching them get bullied in said chat with members saying “pay XXX and we will leave you alone” (normally with prices that a new bro won’t have at the accont age) and any response from the victim automatically met with “calm down miner”

I can say ganking is a problem in high sec when it comes to new bros I would impose if they don’t incorporate RGCs changes to at least add a type of protection for newly created accounts (one that can’t be abused)

Now for my two cents. It’s true HMA does have the NPSI attitude when it comes to their fleets (which when I ran fleets back in the day I never imposed), Nebula Industries have been attacked/bullied in the past because the fleet name doesn’t have “HMA” in the fleet name (this has had selten respond with attempted ganking on the fleet members myself included alongside bumping orcas out of range in moon fields and type cing rocks that fleet members are actively mining)

I can understand the NPSI if it’s in low/null/Porch/worm space but in high sec I don’t believe in it and have voiced it multiple times which I believe Winston and RGC can confirm.

Now on the “Fake HMA” I’m honestly surprised Winston that you didn’t register it in the first place to avoid this situation, but I hear talks are in place for change of ownership.

But enough in game drama. Making alpha accounts unable to change safety to red is a good change as that has dropped ganker numbers a bit but there still has more that needs to be done especially the war mechanics. They need an overhaul

RGC has my vote

Aggreed, if the fleet is private why does it concern the HMA, it’s not publicly available yet HMA insists on bullying Nebulas private fleets. I’ve yet to get a response on that front
