yes, because thatās the reality of the situation, but apparently people donāt understand that. for some reason, people think this is about the game, but when ātheyā continuously pull real life into it, then trying to keep it within the game isnāt the way to move forward. iām not saying itās not my fault for badly communicating it, but itās definitely not solely my fault that reasonable people donāt see what is going on around here. and the problem goes way beyond the co2 heist.
I understand what you are saying, but I disagree somewhat with the separation.
In that article I linked, there was one line that struck me. NIDEN makes an eloquent point:

āTorturingāā¦ victim blamingā¦ and loads of other crap. Couldnāt bring myself to read more than the first statement.
The criticism directed at CCP for their decision making (too rash, too slow, not consistent,ā¦) has same valid points to its, although not necessarily as suggested there.

The problem is that people like me understand the concept of āgameā in a ,different better way than people like you, who think the login screen is a magical portal to an alternate reality where actions do not have consequences.

That video is a good example. As I posted in the topic PC GAMER: EvE Alliance Leader ā¦ bannedā¦ : āThe Gigx ban is a way too rough, compared to shitposting flying around Internetā. An old school EVE player as gigX was, being in those chats for so long, didnāt pay attention to modern democratic paper wars. I heard similar community dialogues or talking in many guild or alliance chats, even in WoW. I donāt like this manner of dirty talking, but you know what I mean.
The video you posted presents what is EVE currently, in some different way. More such bans and betrayals will turn EVE into a game like one below:
BTW, in your videoā¦ heheheā¦ the raging just gone mad man at 3:20 is a pure EVE case, which I didnāt saw anywhere else

Except Eve is āonlyā a MMO, not a RPG
(had it been RPG as well, things like CQ had not been removed but expanded to allow interaction between characters on all stations) 
Actually, Eve is a much truer RPG than most RPGs out there. Because you can freely play your role - in contrast to just picking it and be limited by your choice.
Want to be a bounty hunter? Go out there and shoot people for bounty. Trader? trade. Mercenary, Industrialist, Forum Troll, Empire Leader, Pirateā¦ whatever you can think of and pull off, you can be.
