Just because someone ISN’T something, doesn’t mean they’re qualified for a CSM position. I don’t see any reason to vote for him, just a lot of reasons why he’s not something else.
Besides, when someone makes a claim like “If you pod me, I’ll biomass”, people will just bandwagon on that to see if they’re actually serious about it.

@Jerry_Falcone go ahead and delete this from Komi’s thread. Let’s keep that chatter on this thread. In this regard, let’s be civilized and not poison her thread now that we have our own.
Believe it is not, it is not my personal intention to grief Komi. I believe Komi should be assassinated solely on grounds she has brought upon herself, but it is not my personal intention to smear Komi outside of those grounds. I cannot speak for everyone else, however.

I want to give a shout out to my man @Shipwreck_Jones for asking the hard questions…
Regardless of the outcome, the moral of the story is:
- RP is fine, gratuitous egomania is not (this alone earns you a death sentence)
- RP on CSM is fine as long as you take it seriously: an immense amount of OOC is necessary for campaigning/player interactions/CSM duties so 99% RP isn’t going to work, and candidates should always run on qualifications and an actual platform instead running based on personality/RP or for their vanity.
- Hardcore RPers should be careful what RP confines they set for themselves with (ie. “I’ll biomass my char if I get podded”)… because they might bite them in the ass later, especially if they run for CSM!
If OOC Komi ever rolls out a new char… honestly, I wish them well. I want them to be successful both in RP and in EVE (I have no personal grudge against them), but without the egomania and kept outside of CSM where they are grossly unqualified.

i’m sure komi is a great person, but with the heavy RP and seemingly not taking CSM as serious as it should, and making comments that are detrimental to the health of the character… in this instance, her qualifications are up for debate. and thats why this topic is here.

I’m parked at an L5 Locator agent so I can check regularly. Komi is still in Frarn (one jump from Rens tradehub) as she was yesterday. Going to get a covert cloaky ship w/ combat probes on my alt to monitor her.
Even the Locator Agent agrees Komi is a sleazebag LOL

huh…Ok, I’ll chip in a little 50kk to this crowd-funded pod-bounty thing…I just want to see if Komi will actually biomass if she gets podded as she says she will in accordance with her RP…enthusiasm. Shadenfruede? No, it’s in the name of science of course.
Even the folk at Talking in Stations tried to gently tell her CSM isn’t compatible with always-on RP.
If she does get elected to CSM and then get podded that will be an interesting situation.
Seems like she’s cloaky-camping Frarn atm, then? Well, she’ll probably be doing a lot of cloaking for awhile at least…
