could not agree more, old forums use pages. pages work, pages load instantly.

Also, http://www.eveonline.com/ is my favorite game, so the features on this forum are fine.
This new forum layout is an appauling waste of time and space it is confusing at best no access to my mail account just for startersā¦
And I really object the seemingly new introduction of a badge system to access areaās that were previously easy and free to accessā¦ Stupid message on my account a few minutes ago saying I had been awarded a badge giving me access to other features is pathetic waste of space ā¦ Remove all this nonsense and go back to the previous version quicklyā¦

That will never happen, this version is, uh, āmodernā.
The new forum is terrible. So bad that I am not sure how much longer Iāll be posting on it.
It seems to be part of a general trend that Iāve seen going on with CCP. Things are becoming more ascetically pleasing and less functional. The old Eve website was great. There was a side bar and you could very quickly find the information that you were looking for. Now the website looks much prettier but it is near impossible to find the information that you are looking for.
The new forums are similar. The flow of the conversations is interrupted by replies to comments that you have to expand to see and you canāt thumbs up replies to comments. It took something that worked really well and made it clunky and hard to follow.
However I probably should thank CCP since with the removal of outposts itās probably time that I start looking for a new game anyway.

So any word on any of the issues brought up in this thread that are being worked on CCP Avalon? Iām worried that this ānew forum feedbackā is mostly being used by people to just get their first posts out of the way, thusly hiding what is actually neededā¦
Is there anyway to block a user ie not see their posts as we could in the old forums? I tried in notifications but all that does is stop notifications and not block their posts.
I donāt believe so.
Can be good new feature. You should post about it in correct category. You have my vote if do that

Somehow ccp managed to make the forums look better but simultaneously less functional. So much crap on the screen that its hard to actually find what you are looking for. But at least we get to use

On right you have timeline. Click on botom if needed or where you need. No need to scroll.
If only something was available, you know, that limited how many posts were visible, and some how ordered them into separate visible areas, ordered by time and navigable by buttons.

lol, accidentally switched off the magic slider, so now i must scroll on my tablet screenā¦ no idea how to switch it on again. but, donāt mind, as my number of logins per month is decreasing anyway, because i still cannot zoom the text
