now picture this in eve online today boom boom boom miner dies that small ship dies and that fleet kills every one and no one talks to anyone its all part of the game they send him a mail telling him mining is a waste of time , thy tell that new pilot that pvp is not for care bears and that pvp is all there is to make Real progress as if that was true , then being new they take that to heart after watching his ship burn the impact sends him to want to be a part of what powerful acts they are doing , they send him a shipfit that costs 200 times worth his own and put a big pay wall in front of it , they shoot him again when he is trying to make isk working on a mission , he goes to rookie chat asks what is best for him to start with , he gets nothing but ■■■■■■■■ answers like the ■■■■■■■■ acts he was met with THIS is what happens in eve today , i endured it to see the world for what it really is , others might not and if they did they will breed more ■■■■■■■■ like the one they became capsuleers in it , this is also the butterfly effect and i also call it the sand box …its a double edged sword , all you have to do is say no to this ■■■■■■■■

It sounds like you live in Caldari space near Jita, you need to leave that area, it is nothing but problems, Genesis region and Lonetrek are quite regions where you can learn and explore, low security space that is not faction ware fare space can be quite also.
it does not matter where you are , you interact with the world as whole when you are new and rookie chat is every where , and apparently from every thing i have got during my study in chattter rooms in emails in forums reading and now this 2nd post , this is the mentality of every one not what happens in a few systems

If you want to experience the eve that was in that video you need to leave high sec, join a corporation or alliance that is PvP and new player friendly (they do exist) and you will begin to gain that kind of experience.
