[UNF-A] Eugales VI Arcology and Terraforming Initiative

Hello, once again. The UNF has been, over the past nine months been working on a large scale project alongside several other smaller endeavors that have been announced in the past, and it has come time for us to step forward and unveil our current ongoing primary project. A long-term Terraforming and Arcology construction initiative on the uninhabited Storm class world of Eugales VI, currently designated Shine Ekhlel by UNF construction and assembly crews, a phrase meaning ‘New Beginnings.’

Over the past six months since entering active phase, crews on the surface have been slowly working on foundations for Arcology and Terraforming centers across the surface in various locations. This was hampered for a time by material shortages caused by the brief conflict in the system between the UNF and the forces of CRIME NET et al, but has since resumed in full force, with a recent large commitment of industrial materials to the world helping to bolster the project back toward its original timeline.

The project itself will use atmospheric processing and other techniques and equipment based on prototype designs from the now defunct Walkai Terraforming Industries, as well as other sources, with the hope of eventually bring the massive world storm shrouding the planet to a tamer, more hospitable disposition over the next several years.

The primary Arcology and Terraforming Center, Masariin Gazar, started at the beginning of this project’s active phase, is beginning to near completion in a relatively shielded rift valley near the planet’s equator, adjacent to a handful of prefabricated command centers and space port structures which have been the primary receiving points for the materials being distributed across the world. It currently stands as the most complete Arcology Center on the planet, with others still in early construction or foundation laying.

Once the primary arcology reaches full completion, it will be opened to civilian habitation and capsuleer access, along with further major and minor arcologies eventually being opened in similar manner as they are completed.

The UNF would like to thank those who have, up to this point, supported the project in its early phase, from Sapphire Interstellar Capital Holdings, Shield Wall Technologies and Logistics Ltd, and others, who at this time wish to remain unnamed.

Further information will be released at a later date.

Thank you all for your time.

Operation Provide Safe Shield: status update, security forces and safety personnel deployment

Upgrades to temporary structures deployed on Eugales VI, located at each construction and terraforming site, are complete. Upgrades include expansion to living quarters to facilitate growth projections. We have deployed all our core personnel and currently are working to hire additional personnel to meet current and projected staffing requirements.

Core personnel, currently staffed, are fully vetted and meet minimum requirements detailed by Colonial Director Lauralite Anne Brezia. “Boiler-plate” Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) are already in place and active. All appropriate background records, NDA’s, and DNA samples for all deployed personnel have been transferred to my superior, Sterling Blades.
Staffing currently meets requirements for all security needs. Standard oversight teams are in place at all construction and Terraforming locations. Due to the rarity and cost of terraforming equipment, Special Reaction Force (SRF) teams were formed in addition to deployed standard protection teams and serve as roving reactionary forces, coined “Tiger Teams”. Tiger Teams are also charged to perform random security inspections and probe attempts to keep all security teams operating at peak performance.
As previously noted, safety teams are deployed and will continue to perform oversite of all activities to ensure proper safety protocols are followed. Our goal is to maintain an accident free work site and minimize unnecessary damage to equipment/materials.
An orbital Secure Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF) “The Rubicon” was successfully deployed in geo-stationary orbit with Eugales VI late yesterday. Minimal staffing will remain on the mobile platform and random security inspections will be performed daily. This facility will operate as a meeting/conference location until permanent facilities are constructed at the primary Arcology and Terraforming Center, Masariin Gazar.
Projected growth in construction activities will require additional staff and hiring processes are already in effect.
Please direct any questions or concerns regarding this report to either myself or my Superior Sterling Blades

A brief update, the Masariin Gazar Arcology Center is expected to reach completion within the next three weeks, and access to its habitation and recreation centers opened once appropriate safety inspections are performed. Another thing of note, is that the proprietor of a former establishment upon the Virtrupets Orbital Waystation, the Red Paw Lounge, before its unfortunate destruction during the crime net conflict, has expressed interest in reopening the establishment planetside at the center once everything is in order.

Other arcology and terraforming center locations are on a brief construction hold due to a particularly violent series of localized sub-storms near most major sites, current projections place these sub-storms dissipating back to the usual background storm in the next six days.

Congratulations on the progress made so far on this project. Many years ago, I remember basing in Eugales as a staging area for the reconquest of Placid from State Protectorate forces. Its been a long while since I’ve spent much time there, but I’m glad to see someone investing in the economic development of the system.

I’ll have to swing by soon and check things out.

A Further update, the central complex for the Masariin Gazaar Arcology has reached completion and baseliners have been given clearance to begin claiming habitation space in the residential districts, an embassy center is being setup over the next few days as the receiving point for capsuleer visitors, and the proprietor of the Red Paw Lounge has given an open invitation to capsuleers not considered hostile to UNF to visit the establishment once the receiving center is opened.

Quite the progress, Ms. Brezia! I’ll relay this news to my associates, and we may very well be in touch in coming days.

It has been an honor for S-ICH participating and assisting into a partial funding and construction of the residential districts. We look forward into seeing the full opening of the center.

The receiving center has been appropriately setup and baseliner staff have been notified to watch for potentially arriving capsuleer guests, I’d advise courtesy being shown as security personnel have been authorized to escort out would be troublemakers regardless of title, standing, or claim to fortune.

Out of curiosity, is there a list available to see exactly which groups are currently considered hostile to UNF?

Ms. Culome, as it currently stands the list of hostile entities include members of CRIME. NET, and any affiliates of the Serpentis corporation, Angel Cartel, Sansha’s Nation, and the Blood Raiders. A more comprehensive list will be made available at a later date.

A reminder that the Receiving Center is active and available to those wishing to visit the main Arcology.

Other arcologies are progressing slowly in construction due to a seasonal uptick in the severity of the world storm in several regions.

With the Crimson Harvest currently underway, the UNF has put in place heightened security measures and increased patrols around the Masariin Gazaar arcology, and construction sites of other in-progress arcologies on Eugales VI, to prevent any would be blood raider assaults.

Be nice if CONCORD’s new AEGIS division would intervene.

With the seasonal substorms beginning to abate, and the Crimson Harvest seeming to be winding down, work at other arcology construction sites will be returning to regular pace. Heighten security will remain in place for a further period of two weeks before being returned to normal levels.

The Masariin Gazaar arcology’s baseliner community continues to grow, and is projected to reach 200,000 civilian individuals sometime later in the month, plenty of room remains in residential districts for the arcology, but the inflow has been regulated to ensure growth is sustainable. Hydrophonics systems for the arcology have also been producing a surplus, a portion of which is being exported to help cover some of the operational costs.

I’m pleased to announce that the Masariin Gazaar has surpassed 200,000 civilian population this past Friday, most are adjusting well and further civilian applications to the Arcology are in processing, though screening procedures for both applicants and imports have been increased due to the discovery and dismantling of a Syrikos Hound puppymill back on November 14th, being operated by a small group of individuals who have all been detained and deported from the Arcology.
The recovered pups have since been examined by veterinary professionals, and those that survived have been re-homed where possible. Humane euthanasia was unfortunately necessary in all cases for the breeding pairs recovered with the pups.

Good day pilots, I bring an update on the security situation at the Masariin Gazaar, as well as the ongoing construction efforts on other parts of the planet.
Firstly, I must announce the unexpected and unfortunate disappearance of Mr. Gendari, the previous Planetary Security Officer and Operations Overseer for Safety detachments on Eugales VI, including at the Masariin Gazaar arcology. Queries have been made to old ports of call he frequented in the past, as well as other likely locations he may have gone to with no success. With this in mind, a new Operations Overseer for Security and Safety detachments has been assigned and is undergoing orientation. He will be introducing himself in the next several days.
Continuing on, construction efforts in the Shuurga Basin, some ninety-seven kilometers to the southeast of the Masariin Gazaar and the Kentii Rift Valley, have passed the half-way point for the colonial center, with work on the terraforming structures lagging behind slightly. Other construction locations are expected to pass the twenty-five percent mark for completion in some few weeks.
In closing, groundside hangars built into the cliffs near the Masariin Gazaar have been expanded to include appropriate equipment to house and maintain response wings of drop-ships and fighters to further raise security capabilities.
Thank you for your time.
