Sigh. All ship classes should be viable, and have useful roles. Caps are a good aspirational goal, but I don’t consider any ship to be “endgame.” It’s about picking the right tool for the job.
I’m not sure dreads should be able to kill any cruisers easily, Loki or otherwise.
AFK cloaky camping has issues, but your solution is way too restrictive.

point2: a phoenix is vurnable to 10 lokis.
@Daoden, “a good distance” and “apply damage” … zzz. you cant kill a loki in lokis max range…
i know about the phoenix, and xl torps have no effective use outside killing caps, when there is no tidi.
(so phoenix is only used to max-effecently killing NPC dreds/titans)

Hybrid guns are NEVER the right tool for the job.

im pretty sure that cruisers class ships should not be able to kill any capital this easy.
im sorry you dont agree that capitals are “end-game” in both pvp and pve, i belive this… but more important; capitals have a shitton longer training time and are alot bigger then cruisers… thus they are more advanced and should be able to kill its inferior ship types.

Blaster vindicators are really good in incursions, Rail Cormorants, Eagles, and Feroxes are popular doctrine ships, Ganking Catalysts might have something to say, and the Deimos used to be one of my favorite ships before the Ikitursa came along. I guess blasters have lost some of their luster since the Trig ships have come along, but there are still a bunch of excellent blaster and rail fits.

@Shipwreck_Jones yeah, vindicators are mainly used as the “newb” ship in incursion -its used mairly as a stepping stone.
comorants i agree is still viable, as well as ganking catalyst or very newbro ratting…
im pretty sure you can get like 4m ticks in a catalyst doing belt ratting, so thats good!
But, when we are speaking of efficency… then it becomes pretty clear that hybrid is crap right now.
A ship that only has +damage to hybrid, will be outshined by any other + damage type ships.
