Yes, it is. It only has any value inside EVE. Nobody outside of the game gives a ■■■■ about your ISK. You can spend $ to get ISK (via PLEX), but you can’t spend ISK to get $. ISK is literally worthless outside of EVE.

It’s a sandbox GAME. They enjoy the game by trying to steal your pretend money. You enjoy the game by trying to exploit wormholes for pretend money. Some people enjoy the game by building pretend space empires.

It’s either fun and you play… or it’s not and you don’t. The pretend currency of the game still isn’t real.
