You pushed for some good FW changes, i want to see what you do a second time. You have my vote
With the sheer amount of work puke has put into the CSM this year I think its clear that he is an truly an outstanding candidate.
His actions speak louder than any endorsements possibly could.
He has my vote and I look forward to hopefully seeing him on the CSM for another term.
YP2 for CSM 20! “Slap me Daddy!”
Hey buddy, thanks for your patience in my response. I was at EVE Vegas the weekend hanging out with friends.
T3 cruisers are in a pretty rough spot right now compared to their T2 counterparts. Specifically, they’ve fallen behind in tank (compared to cost) and survivability, which makes them difficult to justify in fleet comps, especially when you compare them to ships like the Basilisk or Guardian after the resist changes, increase in tank, and other rebalancing.
Take the Basilisk for example. It’s incredibly tanky, scales well in numbers, and remains cost-efficient. In contrast, a logistics Loki or Legion requires a ton of ISK investment just to reach similar survivability, and even then, they’re still notably squishier. The cost-to-performance ratio just doesn’t make sense anymore. It’s dumb and needs to be reworked.
I think a few key changes could blance T3Cs:
Subsystem Rebalancing: Increase their baseline tank and EHP potential through subsystem bonuses or passive resist improvements. (This needs to be discussed among CCP and the player base)
Logi Utility: Improve T3C logistics output or fitting flexibility. PG was a good start, but perhaps focusing on specific rep bonus or mobility advantages (discussed below)
Mobility and Signature: Emphasize their smaller signature radius and higher agility as part of their survivability model.
They should still remain vulnerable to E-war since that’s a fair balancing factor, but their performance ceiling should be higher to reflect their investment and versatility.
How would you improve them?
For a shield T2 battleship logistics would be awesome btw. I am very much for it. Maybe T2 BS logi for armor and shield. COULD BE FUN!
Great question,
Here is my answer that I have been sending around and the current context with CCP.
There have been multiple suggestions that have been presented to CCP. Specifically, regarding various LP penalties and significantly increasing standing losses. The first step of that has been implemented with raising the pirate militia standings, which comprises the vast majority of awoxing. My personal idea is to create militia friendly awoxing setting to allow for FW groups to use AOE weapon systems without issue and if those settings are breached. It will lead to harsh lp denial and standings losses. Other ideas mentioned are the awoxng flag mechanic that shows players of known awoxers.
I also believe that we cannot design the game for CCP. This is a massive problem and CCP have acknowledged it across numerous areas: Discord
I am in constant discussion with various CCP developers regarding this issue. I hope a fix will be implemented soon, but it is up to CCP.
We have a dedicated awoxing discussion thread with CCP in our dedicated Faction Warfare focus group here: FW Parliament
Hello youngpuke2, first of all good luck with your campaign
…and may the best will win ofc ![]()
(I will great every candidate this way
)
Hope you find time to share your thoughts on below topics and game ideas.

1. EVE Vanguard
Have you had an occasion to try it during Operation Nemesis or earlier? What was your impression if any? What do you think about bidirectional connection planned with EVE Online? Do you see it has a potential to attract more players towards New Eden? And do you think Capsuleers will benefit from it? |
|
2. Information & ISK itemization
How about being able to take a notes from your notepad and put it as an item into container or ship cargo? Same with an amount of ISK? Just like you can do with PLEX. More details https://forums.eveonline.com/t/information-itemization-put-notes-into-cargo-containers Would you pitch CCP to consider implementing it? |
|
3. Production Plans
Basically the idea behind this is to bundle all the BPOs (BPCs), required to produce some final product, say, an assembled Drake fully fitted according to some saved fit ready for duty, into a single BPO-like item, and internally arranged into an intricate production workflow. Complete with logistics tasks, if necessary, using delivery corp projects. It could use BPMN diagram editor to arrange. When installed into industrial job slot it will churn out those Drakes, provided there are required materials in linked containers or pause until they are become available again. More details https://forums.eveonline.com/t/feature-request-production-plans Would you pitch CCP to consider implementing it? Or at least expand ESI to allow 3rd party developers to do it? |
Haha hey, thats me!
Podcast episode with Declarations of War
Great interview on CCP Twitch Youngpuke. You mentioned name changes, is that something you would support?
I know it’s a controversial topic for some but I personally never understood why name change tokens weren’t in the plex store for a few thousand plex (how ever many would make it worth it for CCP if there’s some manual work involved)
I know some people are big concerned about the persistence and players trying to use it to their advantage, but skill injection to re-roll characters is already in the game, standings would persist and you could show name history in bio the same as you do for character transfers and employment history
Hey, thank you so much for saying that the interview on Twitch was great. I really appreciate that, and I completely agree with you. I think name changes could be a very welcome feature overall, but they’d need to be implemented carefully.
There definitely should be a visible name history tab, and the change itself should come with a high cost and time restriction to prevent abuse. If players could change their names freely
It’s similar in principle to the body modification feature we already have, something that’s possible but still a meaningful, deliberate choice with some friction involved.
If done right, with cost, delay, and history tracking, I think name changes could be a very positive and well-received addition to the game
YP2 is the most passionate and hopeful person I know about eve online - would be a mistake to not reelect him
During the whole year, I have seen young on a lot of discords interacting with the people and trully representating them.
He also does a very good job at giving good ideas and arguments to ccp. He is an easy pick for the top of my ballot.
Ok Youngpuke, I was already voting for you, no need to sell it even further smh
I think Youngpuke, as a fellow CCP pick, has done a phenomenal job on the CSM. We have stayed in touch and talked quite a bit since the CSM 18/19 change over. Especially since Eve Rookies has taken a step into Faction Warfare ourselves. So having that expertise and representation matters.
I’ve had a chance to interview him for the CSM20 candidate interviews I’ve been doing. Go and check it out!
YP2 is very communicative with the Lowsec playerbase about their concerns and ideas, and his focus on the PvE in that space is refreshing as something that usually gets very little attention. If even just a few of these tweaks see reality I have some faith that it could breathe new life into that space.
It is officially CSM voting time! Over the past 3-4 weeks, I have spoken over 40 alliances and corps and listened to your problems and complaints. I think these individuals below will be the best to take charge of these problems and work to creating a better New Eden for all. This is my list of of candidates that deserve your vote as well as a prefilled ballot if you want to follow it for your ease.
Make sure you are logged in first on the CSM voting page and then refresh to get this prefilled ballot link.
Your page should look like this when you login and like this before you hit submit.
After many conversations within the CSM community, I believe this ballot represents the most well-rounded group of candidates who cover a wide range of playstyles, spaces, and perspectives. These are people I’ve worked closely with over the past year, and I’ve seen firsthand their dedication and ability to represent diverse interests across New Eden.
I truly believe this team can advocate for small to medium-sized groups across multiple ecosystems, working to reduce barriers to content generation and promote mid-scale growth and development.

@youngpuke2 -Over this past year, I’ve tried to build a vision for low-sec and other regions that fosters a more dynamic, combative environment filled with new groups, new stories, and new opportunities for everyone. We have accomplished a lot this year with ongoing development in Faction Warfare, low-sec, wormholes, and null-sec improving the ability for small to medium groups to have more opportunities to have fun and grow. Thank you for your time and support. I hope you’ll consider voting for me and helping bring this vision to life. Let’s keep the ball rolling.

@creatnos- This man has the calculatedness as a turtle and wisdom of an owl. His experience in multiple ecosystems is deep as sea trench. Creatnos would bring experience across multiple ecosystems advancing Pro-PvP centric iterations and creating a more unique and thrilling eve experience. Capitals, subcapitals, mid-scale, and small gang pvp. The man knows a lot and would be a wonderful CSM member. Read His Post
-
@Mick_Fightmaster- My homie. My boy. My man. There is nobody who I would consider my ride or die when it comes to fighting for unique ecosystems. If it was low-sec issues to wormholes, Mick will be a vocal advocate of increasing content generation across ecosystems including low-sec. Micky Cheese for CSM! Read his post

[@Dujek_Oneye] (Dujek Oneye for CSM20 - A Candidate for Everyone. New player and pvp focus) fully endorse *Dujek oneye for the CSM and strongly encourage you to vote for him. I’ve had the pleasure of working with him, and he’s been a passionate advocate for faction warfare, lowsec groups, and smaller organizations across New Eden. He’s a thoughtful, genuine person who consistently represents the interests of our community and works hard to improve the game for everyone involved. That’s why he’s on my list of recommended candidates and why I believe he’ll make an excellent CSM member.
-
@Drake_Iddon (Drake Iddon for CSM20 - Inflict me upon the devs for another year) - This is a place, EVE Online, brings men together, where weebs, anime lovers, and waifu enthusiasts unite to become whole. He backed me up when we needed cat ears during the summit. My comrade, my chosen one, Drake, has been an incredible advocate for Pochven and other ecosystems. I fully support his mission to keep “hazing the devs” for another year as he works to shape his ideal vision for the game. He’s a great man, a strong advocate, and a well-rounded candidate. Vote for Drake.
-
@ThePuce_Moose HIS POST HERE The PUUUCEEE MOOOSE is a wonderful gentleman and a passionate small-gang advocate for Faction Warfare and Lowsec. We share nearly identical ideas and perspectives on how to improve these areas of the game. He’s been an amazing person to talk to and collaborate with, and I truly believe he’ll be a powerful voice for the Lowsec and Faction Warfare communities. He also understands that revitalizing player-versus-environment systems is essential for helping small to medium-sized groups grow and thrive.
-
@The_Oz (The Oz for CSM 20 - Independent, proven, economy expert) - The CSM can often be seen as a biased institution. To bring true balance to the information provided to CCP, we need voices that are unfiltered, rational, and committed to honest discourse.
The Oz is that voice of reason, as he is able to provide clear, accurate feedback to the developers and advocate for changes that genuinely improve the game. Every change he supports is grounded in reason, fairness, and what’s best for the health of New Eden. -
@Benzmann - READ HIS POST HERE Benzy has been a long term advocate for low-sec and his experience is vast. He deserves to be on your ballot to help advocate for a growing low-sec and keeping our pond thriving. He is kind, good-hearted, and he can take a good shot. Plus, he’s icelandic, so what could be better?
-
@Orion_Sa-Solo https://forums.eveonline.com/t/orion-sa-solo-for-csm-20-everyone-matters/498592- Orion is an upcoming low-sec advocate from Fl33t. His experiences across New Eden and dedication to Faction Wrafre, Low-sec, and small groups is well known. He is strong and vocal advocate for our pond. He deserves to be on your ballot and you should reach out to him. He has a lot of good ideas and has the qualities to be a great CSM.
-
@Rots_Mijnwerker READ HIS POST HERE - Rots has been a longstanding individual who has been advocating for small to medium groups. He has been one of the last mid-scale null-sec groups in the game. His experiences would be extremely important for CCP to hear from over the course of the year. He should be on your ballot because his mission is my mission. Let’s support small and medium groups across multiple ecosystems.
I love this statement, due to the body change modification being allowed due to quite a bit of request (from what I saw) from the lgbtqa community and allies. A name change with limited or terms to use with restrictions could allow comfort for those transitioning or nonbinary/ace/agender/etc to choose a name thats more appropriate for them.
#1 candidate on the Declarations of War podcast!
