Prove these claims, or shut up. You cant come in here making vague comments like this, and prove this the case.
Also statistical data can be misinterpreted, and not only can, often is.
Further more, hellmar Intentionally fabricates metrics to keep the company looking good, probably to keep his job.
Example of this, a few months ago we had a steam sale that enables people to start with bonus SP. This resulted in 92% of the population online during specific hours to be ALTS.
I Told the people in my corp explicitly âWatch this carefully and remember this point, in a few months he will claim that eveâs population can grow extremely fast, or has extremely high activity for new accountsâ.
a few months later, here we are with hellmar claiming eve gains 16,000 new accounts a week âTesting the gameâ, undoubtedly using those extract metrics in that specific time frame.
Another great example of the metrics ccpâs senior staff pedles âdying makes people play the game moreâ. He the spouts some stupidity that makes it seem like they play more, and while it is true, it is not always true. This is an extremely important point, that these metrics show if someone dies they will play to recoupe what they lost, however, if they die repeatedly they uninstall.
This form of metric manipulation has gone unchecked for a long while. Itâs very present in many things that ccp spouts, and its CLEAR AS DAY a lie to anyone that has actually worked in this industry for any significant amount of time (lets say 5+ years).
So unless you have direct numbers you can post and demonstrate i am wrong with, with exacting evidence to prove your angle on those metrics are true, be quiet.
How do you know i have not? You donât even know who i am. By the way, I have been a senior or lead for the last 13 years. I was promoted to a senior position just under 2 years into my first development position. There i have been for almost two decades, btw, I am now the ceo of my own studio working on an mmo.
