115m SP combat pilot main.
Can pilot virtually every sub-cap combat ship with high proficiency (in trained skill, not necessarily pilot skill, it’s been a while), including a few caps at varying proficiency.
In total: 9 toons across 3 accounts that all have some use.
A couple cov ops scout / cyno toons, a Caldari t3 specialist, Jita trade alt, industrialist (high SP, but not as high as main), jump freighter… maybe some others. I’ll Omega these as it becomes relevant or necessary. I do know that I can field 3 miners at a time, or 2 miners and an Orca/Rorq (with full bonuses… at least, last I checked), or a combat + cov ops + cov ops, as well as some other 3 toon combos (I think?). Pretty sure one of the cov ops can also destroyer class bubble.
In terms of gameplay, I’m not looking for anything in particular.
Null sec, low sec, high sec, piracy, mission running, wars, empire building, bomber runs, black ops ops, industry, whatever. I’ve done it all, I’m over it all. What will get me back and keep me back is the right group of people.
I’m looking for clearly defined goals.
Goals that a group of players is impassioned to achieve. Clearly stated and understood goals with a roadmap to achieve them is what I’m after. I have no more personal goals, my personal goals are your corp goals.
I’m looking for good leadership.
Competence, compassion, communication. Top down leadership that knows exactly what they want and exactly how they want to get there. The kind of leadership that doesn’t just say, “go play,” but instead asks something of its members. The kind of leadership that has no need for dull verbage like “providing content.” Also, no dicks. I have no tolerance for dicks.
I don’t care if the corp is new or established, and I don’t care if you never want to leave high sec or you think high sec is only for pussies. If you are looking for a loyal pilot that’s going to push for your goals along side you, and who has the in-game resources to help you achieve them, I’m your man.
This might take a while for me to get the right impression. If this takes a day, it takes a day. If this takes a month, it takes a month. I’ve got bad jokes, good burns, and a relaxed attitude. Tell me why you’re the group of people I’m looking for.
Thank you for reading.
I will add my replies to the OP so any amendments or clarifications I make are readily accessible.
R1:
Summary
I really appreciate the interest I’ve already seen in these past 12 hours, and I’m grateful for what effort was put in at attempting to personalize and speak more directly to me.
However, I’m not really seeing what I’m after just yet. Many of these corps look like great corps and are probably good people, nothing I’ve said or am going to say is meant to denigrate anyone that’s already posted in this thread, but it’s not just good people or a well structured corp I’m after. To stay interested in Eve, I need a larger purpose. Defending sov, defending a WH home, PvP for the sake of fun, these are not things I’m particularly interested in. At least, not at face value.
So I should amend my earlier sentiment maybe a little bit. I maybe shouldn’t say I don’t care if you’re established as that might be too broad. I do care if you’ve already set in your roots and aren’t building to anything grander. I do care if the ultimate goals amount to ‘maintaining,’ or a capitalist connotative sense of ‘growth.’
So I think, more accurately, I’m looking for a ‘larger purpose.’ I’m not looking for “content.” “Content” is what you do when you’re just content and bored. Purpose is what keeps your pilots logging in and grinding out beyond what they need to sustain some casual pew-pew.
Basically, I’m saying: give me a purpose, not a sales pitch. Not just a group of friends, but a cohort of partners bent on achieving a fantastic goal, with proactive leadership that has clearly communicated the path on which you will walk to get there. Maybe some of these recruiters have that and they just haven’t conveyed it, at least not to my eye, and maybe they don’t. And maybe they can’t, maybe I won’t ever find the person that can convey the passion I think I’m looking for. Maybe I’ve set an impossible task. But one thing I am certain of: I will know it when I see it. And I just haven’t yet seen it. Whatever “it” may happen to be.
