Automatic Dscan

In this far off future of clones and space ships and faster than light travel, is there a way to set dscan to just auto ping every 5 seconds? Manual radar is an…interesting idea i guess. Just seems like an arbitrary limitation that makes no sense given the technology level of the setting.

How much server capacity would it take to have D-scan automatically update every x seconds?

I’ve been manually mashing the V key on my keyboard a lot while playing lately and I think this is a good opportunity to improve the quality of life of players, and implement some toggleable option to have D scan automatically update every “x” seconds.

I like to ask CCP to put a auto D-scan key on the window that we can Auto scan around every ‘exp: 5min,1 min ever 10 sec’ over and over until i turn Auto D-scan off tnx CCP

Directional scan auto-repeat

Would be nice to have auto-repeat on the dscan, say every few seconds or preset intervals. It already auto scans on system jumping. We already spam the dscan key anyway.

I still feel like the "stare at dscan for 45 minutes" meta game doesn't respect my time

EvE is thousands of years in the future but radar ( which is what d-scan basically is ) is manually operated and needs someone to crank it up like [1000000933] Is there a chance that Automation and Technology make their entrance in New Eden before the next millenia?
